Is There A Private Air Strip in Your Neighborhood?

I am finally getting started on blogging. I have been talking about doing this for years since I see some of the nicest executive homes in Charlotte.
The other day I was called to do a cleaning in the Aero Plantation community. This neighborhood lies on the outskirts of Charlotte in Waxhaw.
What makes this neighborhood unique is the fact that there is a private landing strip. Many residents have their own planes.
There are also several lakes and ponds. Had it not been winter there probably would have been jet skis and canoes out on the water.
When the call came in I was told that hard water was a problem for the former occupants. Apparently the glass shower in the master bath would need some extra attention. I stopped at the local Home Depot for a product called CLR.
Unfortuantely some things can't be cleaned to the point of being spotless. If some aspect of your home needs cleaning and has been neglected for years, one day of cleaning will not reverse Father time.
I did have more success with the rest of the house. There weren't to mean tough stains but the stairs did need work as there were dark scuff marks everywhere.
Its funny because I just listened to a story about elbow grease the other day and that is exactly what cleaning these stairs required.
